The Auslit Association for the Study of Australian Literature annual conference is the largest annual literary conference in Australia and has been running continuously since 1978.

Its mission is ‘to be the definitive information resource and research environment for Australian literary, print, and narrative cultures'.

The meeting will maintain its established multidisciplinary features attracting a national and international contingent of delegates - particularly from China, Europe, North America and South-East Asia.

The theme of the conference is DIRT.
